FALL BRIDAL PORTRAITS SESSION IN PORTLAND OREGON
Welcome to the wine, wood and roses of Portland, Oregon! Let me take you on Michelle and Eamon’s elopement portrait session adventure along Interstate 84. The highway runs from Portland, Oregon to a junction near Echo, Utah. It connects Portland, Boise and Ogden, Utah and connects to Seattle and Salt Lake City. Love and landscape were the theme for this dreamy bridal portraits session in Portland, Oregon.
Portland is on the north-western border of the State of Oregon, North of California. Often called “The City of Roses” Portland is well known for many things. Filled with art, nature, delicious cuisine and beverages, you absolutely must put Portland on your bucket list. Can you imagine anything more beautiful than a city located between the ocean and the mountains? I can’t! You have the best of both worlds, the woodlands, hills and pastures right down to the coastline of the beach.
Michelle and Eamon thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they naturally interacted with each other, and in such a nature-nurturing landscape. Their love and joy in each other’s presence shone through their photos on this perfect fall day. The sprawling Portland scenery painted a romantic and misty background for these delightful elopement portraits. I felt like I was witnessing from afar, the sweetness and mystery of young love blossoming. It was almost like I wasn’t there as Michelle and Eamon shared a kiss and basked in their love for one another.
Michelle looked so beautiful in her white “Mila” gown designed by Daci Gowns and her white strappy pumps. The ultimate in romantic and whimsical style her A-line silhouette gown had a detailed floral, lace bodice. With a sweetheart neckline and beaded lace that flowed down the chiffon skirt. Off the shoulder lace and silk chiffon sleeves floated in the breeze and added to the beauty of the bridal portrait shots.
Her bouquet of flowers created by Brier and Ivy captured all of the fall colours. The florals blended in with the hues of the grassy and rocky landscape and the greenery of the fir tree forest. Michelle’s individual bridal photos are straight out of a fairy tale. Eamon looked dashing in his white shirt, brown tie, black pants and tan felt hat.
The elopement portraits moved from the brown grassy, highway of Interstate 84 to the contrasting lush green of the woodlands. For anyone passing by, you might for a moment, think that you had caught a glimpse of a beautiful angel dancing in the forest. Every pose was flowing and natural with this photogenic couple. I was so excited to see which portraits Michelle and Eamon chose to enlarge and hang on their walls. It can be a hard choice as you will see. Enjoy glancing through the gallery of this romantic and magical bridal portraits in Portland.
Whilst Michelle and Eamon chose the rugged and rocky terrain along Interstate 84 and the woodlands, there are so many places to choose from. Portland is Oregon’s largest city, and I would love to explore with you the many options available for your very own bridal portraits.
