Congratulations to Lydia and Brandon! Engaged after 4 years of dating and waiting! It wasn’t hard to become a friend of these two gorgeous people. I am so delighted that they asked me to photograph their exciting engagement session. I don’t ever want to take for granted that people ask me to shoot their precious moments in life. But boy when they do, I am over the moon with joy! This whimsical engagement session took place at the very romantic and historic, Meadowlark 1939. Located 50mins south of Atlanta City, you can step onto an English inspired cottage garden farmhouse mansion named Meadowlark 1939.
2613 Newnan Rd, Griffin, GA, 30223
Meadowlark 1939 has many endearing features and is a popular wedding venue. It’s not hard to see why bridal couples flock to this family-owned venue. The pretty and beautifully maintained gardens are full of notable English flora and sprawl over the 13 acres of manicured lush lawns. There is a 100-year-old pecan tree that I’m sure if it could speak, would tell of many beautiful love stories. Every inch of these formal gardens has been lovingly cared for and they are a magnificent, natural backdrop to portraits.
This unique historic venue offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception settings. The professional staff take care of every detail knowing the importance of your special day. At Meadowlark 1939 your event will be the only celebration on the day. They will work in with you to create the most lavish, grandeur style or the most romantic, intimate style. Whatever your dream, be sure the excellent staff will ensure your special day will be personalized with quality and care guaranteed.
Lydia and Brandon are so grateful, so thankful, and so blessed to share the rest of their lives together. They are deeply, truly, madly in love with each other, and the pics reveal that in a heartbeat. They share many things in common and embrace forgiving each other, loving each other and being kind and considerate to each other. They intentionally live by what they believe and have truly found the greatest joy in their togetherness. Dressed in their ever-classic casual style attire, their portraits show how relaxed and comfortable they are in front of the camera. Plenty of delicate hand photos to show off the stunning engagement ring on Lydia’s finger and amazing sunset pics to capture their devotion to each other. Love these guys! Love their portraits! Love the space!
Comment from Lydia when asked, “What do you want our time together to feel like”?
“We both love you so much and have the best time every time we get to talk, so I’m confident it will feel like some friends hanging out in a garden”.
