Welcome to this very modern and historical wedding, full of character, love and fun! Bridal couple Juliann and Noah married in The Brickyard wedding venue. It is located in the heart of downtown Marietta,Georgia.
In addition to The Brickyard, Juliann and Noah had wedding portraits taken in front of the Chapel at the First Baptist Church of Marietta. Rich in history, and not far from The Brickyard, Juliann and Noah made the most of this amazing building for photos on their special wedding day.
Marietta is located just 15 minutes northwest of Atlanta. Blessed with a dramatic mountain backdrop. It has a small town feel with the vibrancy of an urban city. Rich in arts, culture and Civil War history, Marietta even has a “Gone With the Wind” Museum.
There are plenty of opportunities for adventures in this buzzing little town. Don’t forget to sample the scrumptious food from the bakeries and restaurants. Visit the Family Fun Centre or do one of the historical walking tours. History and outdoor lovers can find plenty of activities to keep them entertained. No wonder Juliann and Noah chose this spectacular city to tie the knot in!

The Brickyard is a versatile and historical event facility located on the Marietta Square. The industrial and rustic features of this former tyre warehouse are excellent for wedding portraits. The 1920’s brick work and barrelled wooden ceilings add an authentic look to this charming venue. The Brickyard can host up to 150 seated guests and 200 standing for a reception.
The main room has an exposed industrial ceiling and the original brick walls making decoration easy. Ready access is available to the catering prep area, a coat check area, gallery and courtyard. Wedding ceremonies take place indoors and the reception outdoors in the picturesque courtyard. The Brickyard is an exciting wedding venue for your most memorable of days.
Juliann and Noah put a lot of thought into the special moments they wanted for their wedding day. After first look photos with her bridal party, Juliann met Noah for their first look portraits. They chose the Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Marietta. It was magnificent with its marble walls and Victorian-Gothic arch windows.
I was able to get spectacular wedding portraits of the bride and groom, saying their hand-written vows. There was laughter, tears and some serious moments as they stood in front of the beautiful North Georgian marble Chapel. What a lovely couple they made as they had their own personal communion in front of the Chapel. Juliann and Noah strolled down Church Street to have a few more portrait shots at a delightful little bar.
Juliann’s stunning wedding dress was a one of a kind designed by Jenny Yoo. A fit and flare style with a timeless sweetheart neckline and strapless bodice. Covered buttons went all the way down to the sweeping train and Juliann’s sparkling stilettos peeped out from underneath.
Gold and diamond earrings and a luscious bouquet of pink, white and apricot flowers completed her very stylish and modern look. She wore a cathedral length veil with floral lace embroidery over her loosely curled long hair. Juliann’s 10 bridesmaids surround her in various shades of green giving the bridal party photos a lovely fresh, fall look.
Noah wore a Jos a Bank black suit with a white shirt, black tie and black leather shoes. His groomsmen wore the same and what a dashing wedding party they made.
The wedding ceremony took place in the main room of The Brickyard. Beautifully decorated with fabulous florals and twinkling lights strung across the woodwork of the ceiling. Juliann and Noah said their vows underneath a large, metal oval entwined with leaves. There was a special prayer time where the guests stretched their hands towards the newlywed couple. They exchanged beautifully engraved wedding rings.
Concluding their wonderful day, family and friends had a lot of fun celebrating with the newlyweds MR & MRS LeVan. There was lots of dancing, speeches and an amazing wedding feast after such a romantic wedding ceremony. I managed to get a group wedding photo with all the bridal party and guests. There were 10 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 1 flowergirl and 150 guests. Super fun pic! I love this wedding venue in the historic, little town of Marietta, and would highly recommend it for a wedding venue.
