Welcome to the beautiful elopement of Natalie and Austin. Congratulations for saying, “I DO” in the dream destination of Sedona, Arizona. There are plenty of intimate places to elope amongst the natural beauty of red rock formations. Some of these options are super popular and iconic elopement locations.
Natalie and Austin desired portraits at Cathedral Rock, Merry Go Round Rock and Bell Rock. They said, “We want all the red rocks”!
Enjoy viewing a stark backdrop of mesmerizing, multi-hued stone formations in their gorgeous elopement portraits.
Natalie and Austin looked amazing together and gave life to the very arid and harsh landscape of the desert. This very much in-love couple chose an oasis in the desert to seal their becoming husband and wife. The adobe-style Air BNB, ‘The Sedona Modern’, helped create the most incredible and exciting elopement photos.
Known as the romantic desert city, Sedona, Arizona was on the top of Natalie and Austin’s list. Situated in Central Arizona, Sedona is in the northern Verde Valley region, home of Verde Valley wine. Often referred to as Red Rock County, many couples choose this destination for elopement photos.
2 million acres of national forest land, it is a scenic wonderland of pinnacles, spires and dome rock formations. Sedona is the home of many festivals and “Southwestern” food and “high-desert cuisine” the city too holds an exciting allure.
Cathedrals, castles, bells and even Snoopy on his doghouse are some of the descriptions of the sandstone landscapes. Magnificent contrasts of sheer red rocks, brilliant blue sky, green desert evergreens and white floral arrangements.

Natalie and Austin began their elopement session with getting ready photos at the Sedona Modern Air BNB. Thoughtfully built in the village of Oak Creek, this beautiful 1,900-square foot home was on the top of the list. It was perfect for those desert-meets-sky romantic elopement photos. Natalie and Austin’s first look photos were superb with the backdrop of junipers and red rock formations.
The Sedona Modern is a spacious, and sophisticated new build adobe style home. Architecturally designed with the outside beauty in mind. Gigantic windows give breath-taking views to the surrounding Sedona desert. It comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests.
Natalie looked stunning in a Jenny Yoo wedding gown with a goddess-style neckline, mid-drift slit and puddle train. She accessorised with diamante earrings and a matching bracelet. The white runners for her wedding shoes were quite a surprise for Austin. Austin looked dashing in his chocolate brown suit, white shirt and tan leather boots at their first look photo session.
Making our way to our very own private ceremony site, to capture raw and authentic elopement photos. Emotional times as Natalie and Justin read their handwritten vows and exchanged their rings. They only had the tall, majestic rock formations as their witnesses. What a breath-taking elopement photo session. Close-ups of the bridal couple, sweeping, panoramic shots of the landscape, golden sunset and shadowing. Sedona Arizona elopement photo session had it all.
Natalie and Justin returned to ‘The Sedona Modern‘ for a nightcap of Californian champagne and a cigar. Beautiful intimate elopement photos of them lovingly together on a wooden bench as the new Mr and Mrs! Natalie and Austin, surrounded by desert cactus, reflections of the day, kisses and laughter. What a unique and fun ending to a beautiful elopement photoshoot set in the exotic and delightful Red Rock County.
