Couples Poolside Session California

Welcome to Ellie and Justyn’s poolside couples session.  Set in the famous West Coast State of California, what a stunning couples session it was.  Well-known for its sun, sand and surf and, of course, the Hollywood sign.  California is also famous for its beautiful beaches, Hollywood glamour and its many hiking trails.  The Golden Gate Bridge found here is a famous landmark of California.

So many sights to experience and cities to visit such as San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.  California is one of the most popular all-year-round holiday destinations in the world.  Whether it is wine, cuisine or pristine beaches, California is well worth the visit.

About the couple: California

This young and in love couple wanted their photoshoot to be full of California sunshine.  What better way to show this off than around a sparkling pool in this popular holiday destination.  Ellie and Justyn’s couples session was filled with those summer vibes we all love and long for. 

I love the way Ellie chose her bikini color to match so nicely with the yellow and white striped towels.  The choice of the pink flamingo added a pop of color to the summer theme.  Ellie looked like a perfect picture of a beach girl with her sun-kissed blonde hair, straw hat and sunglasses.  Justyn looks very cool and charming in his black board shorts and shades. 

The Poolside Session

Let me set the scene for this wonderful summer’s day photography session.  A cool, inviting pool surrounded by smatterings of greenery.  Above the deck chairs was a lovely, white, fringed umbrella.  Luxurious yellow and white striped towels were draped over the deck chairs.  A jug and two glasses for Tequila were sitting on the side table between the two chairs.  The perfect couple, young and in love, were the subject of these spectacular portraits.

We started off the couples’ session with portraits shots of Ellie and Justyn sharing a refreshing drink of Cazadores Tequila by the pool.  Relaxing on the deck chairs was a perfect way to get the casual feel across for this session.  As Ellie and Justyn relaxed more into the photoshoot, it was like I was not even there.  They managed to interact so naturally together in this wonderfully, romantic session.  How fresh and alive their portrait shots were.

After a loving embrace, Ellie and Justyn dipped their feet into the pool.  The choice of black and white for some of these photos gives them a classic and clean look.  Before they entered the pool, Ellie put her hair up in a loose bun held by a lovely, white floral clip.   Ellie sat on the pool edge and wrapped her legs around Justyn as he smiled up at her.  Their warm embraces, kisses and laughter was such a delight to photograph.
