I got the honor of capturing this engagement session last summer, on film and digital, in the rolling foothills of Bogus Basin in Boise, Idaho for my amazing clients Bri and Nick. They are originally from Colorado, but moved to Idaho recently, so we thought doing photos in a very iconic Boise, Idaho location would be a fun moment to celebrate their new beginning here.

We chose to start their session up at Bogus Basin, a classic Idaho ski spot, where there were beautifully green rolling hills and wildflowers everywhere underneath the ski lifts. This created for a scenic sight for their engagement session on digital and film. After this, we drove down into the rolling hills for a nice sunset hike for a more casual look which provided some very unique photos as a storm rolled in.

I love any opportunity I get to capture a love story on digital and film while exploring my stunning home here in Boise, Idaho. I can’t wait to capture their wedding weekend this spring here at a local venue in Idaho.
