There is nothing quite like the Sawtooth Mountains up in Stanley Idaho during the fall for an engagement session!! When Kinzie and Justin reached out to me to capture their wedding and engagement photos, we hopped on a call to chat through details and get to know each other and instantly connected on so many levels!! I knew that this was going to be a match made in heaven! 🙂

Once everything was official and we started talking engagement session, Kinzie mentioned driving up to Stanley, Idaho for the session, and I immediately on board!! I am always down for an adventure … especially when it is somewhere as gorgeous as the Sawtooth Mountains!

So, we ventured up to Stanley, Idaho for their session and found this little creek on the side of the road that we stopped at first for some fall foliage and some fun hangs before heading to the mountains! Once we had explored the creek, we decided to head towards Red Fish Lake to have a guitar and picnic moment on the beach, but before we could get there we found yet ANOTHER beautiful pull off that we could resist stopping at! It was the most beautiful field with a stunning view of the Saw Tooth Mountains, so we decided to frolic a little bit and then keep on tracking towards Red Fish Lake!

Now, anytime a couple wants to bring a guitar and have a picnic moment, anywhere, I am always so pumped! So, when Justin said he was brining a guitar and was going to play a little sometime I got so excited! The two them set up a picnic in the sand, Justin played a little song, and they snuggled for a bit as we overlooked the Sawtooths and Red Fish lake!

Then they had an epic outfit change … a moment for an all white outfit … and we laughed, played, and popped champagne together to celebrate these two amazing humans! What a perfect engagement session it was and I cant wait to capture their wedding in Emmett, Idaho this coming July!
