This Colorado Mountains Elopement was one for the books!

My precious couple went through so many plans to get to this elopement and the I say this, I truly mean that eloping in Colorado was plan F … but man did it turn out to be the best plan F I have ever been a part of!!

Getting married is so much fun and truly should be such an exciting time, but goodness don’t I know that sometimes life just decides to throw some curve balls at you making every decision of wedding planning a whole lot harder! You cant ever predict what might change or the events that might transpire between engagement and planning a wedding, but what you can do is, take each curve ball and redirect it throwing it back where it came from and always being willing to make a new, just as amazing, plan!

I have been a part of so many wedding and elopement days and none of them have ever gone perfectly perfect, but each little “off” thing that might happen, always seems to add character and “rawness” to a day … which I kinda love! This is not to say each curve ball is a good one, but I promise if you can get through it, keep momentum, and have joy the entire time … your day WILL turn out imperfectly perfect!

Just like this elopement did for these two!

When we finally decided on the Colorado Elopement, it felt like everything just felt right into place and it turned into exactly what they needed! They had been through a lot in the previous months and all they wanted was to celebrate their love and just be freaking married (which I think all engaged peeps can relate to)! So, when eloping became their only option, they embraced it and rolled with the punches!

I helped them find the perfect location, they hired last minute vendors who were all incredible, and me and the videographer were pumped and ready for this new adventure we were going on with them in Colorado! So, they got ready in an airbnb, we drove them separately to the locations, got them set up for the first look, and then MAGIC HAPPENED!

It might have been at least 10 degrees colder than we expected, but gosh was it so much fun, so joyful, and a truly stunning evening on the top of the mountain watching these two get married!

Nothing will ever top the feeling of watching my couples FINALLY get to have their first kiss married and become officially husband and wife! That feeling will never get old no matter how many moments like it I capture!
