Welcome to this very romantic and sweet styled elopement photo shoot of Chandler and Samuel. It was just stunning, there is no other word for it! I loved this styled elopement day and had so much fun doing it. Joshua Tree National Park is California’s best kept secret. The natural beauty of golden sands, majestic boulders and, of course, the Joshua Trees truly is breath-taking. When you embark upon Chandler and Samuel’s elopement journey you will see what I mean. The day could not have been more perfect than it was. The weather was amazing, and the scenery was exquisite. The bride and groom so photogenic. I am sure these portraits of the radiant couple will inspire those of you looking for a desert oasis to say your “I do” in.

Joshua Tree National Park Elopement

Location: National Park Drive, Southern California

Only a few hours from L.A. this almost 800,000-acre oasis is where the Mojave Desert and the Colorado Desert meet. Who would have thought that there could be so much natural beauty in a desert? The national park is named after the many Joshua Trees growing there. These spikey and twisted trees look like something out of a Dr. Seuss book. Together with the trees and the impressive rock formations, your elopement photos will really be spectacular. Who would have thought that the arid landscape of a desert and the romance of a bridal couple would be such an amazing combination?

About the couple: Joshua Tree National Park, California

Chandler wore a beautiful white A-line wedding dress, with spaghetti straps and a train. The edges of her bodice were scalloped with lace. She kept it all very simple, no jewellery and her only accessories were her beautiful bouquet of flowers and strappy white heeled shoes. I especially loved that Chandler’s bouquet picked up all the colours of the desert and really made the portrait photos that little bit more perfect. Samuel wore an off-white linen suit with dark brown buttons over a white shirt and dark brown leather shoes. What a lovely couple they made.

Elopement Timeline

Chandler and Samuel began their elopement session by having portrait photos that were beautifully framed by the branches of the Joshua Trees. Next, they playfully posed in front of the boulders with the sun blissfully shining on them. The individual portrait shoots were as stunning as the landscape itself.

The styled ceremony photos were taken as Chandler and Samuel said their vows on the sandy desert floor. The log and stone floral arrangements created the perfect alter. A few celebratory kisses topped off this very stylish and romantic elopement session.
