If you are thinking about eloping somewhere epic … let this elopement be your sign that you should!

I got the honor of capturing Madi and Nick’s Amalfi Coast Elopement and my goodness was it an incredible day! Not only was it full of fun, adventure, and beautiful sights, but the culture and history of Italy truly made this elopement in Positano Italy a dream!

Nick and Madi decided they wanted to get away and have a super intimate wedding day with just the two of them getting ready together, saying their vows on the balcony overlooking the cliffside of Italy, exploring the city of Positano, and getting to have champagne and cake on a boat looking out at the city! It was such a n honor that they wanted ME to come along with them and capture each of these moments for them as they shared in the perfect romantic day eloping in Italy together!

Every corner of their airbnb was perfectly vintage and Italian, including the incredible balcony that they got to enjoy! They were able to spend time together in the morning with coffee and matching sweatsuits that had the coordinates on where thy were eloping embroidered onto the top! Then they got ready together and got to share their vows to one another with the sound of crashing waves beneath them!

Once they were ready, we headed out to take on Positano and explore all of its photogenic corners! What would normally take about 15 minutes to walk, took us about an honor because we just couldn’t stop stopping at every corner because of how beautiful it all was! The minute we stepped out onto our journey, it began torn, but we didn’t even care because nothing was going to take away from how magical the city was!

We finally made it down to the heart of Positano and headed towards the boat that was waiting to take us on our little cruise with cake and champagne waiting! This was probably my favorite part and made for such a relaxing moment after hiking down those crazy Italian staircases (if you’ve been to Italy … you know)!! After our boat ride, we frolicked the beach while people cheered from the restaurants watching Madi and Nick run by in their wedding attire, before heading back to change and head to their very special dinner! They graciously invited me to come to dinner as well as we ended the night in true Italy fashion with a 9pm dinner and gosh was it a beautiful close to a wild day!

I am always honored when couples trust me and ask me to join them on such an intimate day … especially in an entirely different country! I love capturing my couples most precious moments and I would go back to Italy any day to do it for another couple for sure!
