Tennessee Cliff Sunset Bridals – Kailee + Nate
This overlook is one of the prettiest lookouts I’ve ever hiked to, but it was also a pretty challenging hike. Wedding attire on and all, Kailee and Nate were rockstars as we hiked through the woods to get there. It was one of the coldest days in March and one of the windiest, so needless to say, it wasn’t the easiest or most fun time getting there. Once we got to the top and the sun started to set, we all agreed that it was worth every bit of suffering to get up there. The sky was clear, but hazy, and the sun was glowing pink and orange, which made the fiery sunset nothing short of breath taking.
Nate and Kailee are some of the kindest and sweetest people i’ve ever met, so getting to take these photos of them was truly a gift. They got married a year ago, but were so excited to get some new photos dressed up all over again to celebrate their one year anniversary! She wore the most stunning gown from Boho Bridal Designs and had a wildly gorgeous bouquet by the amazing Bowman and Clark . He wore a burgundy suit that complimented the sunset so perfectly with a gorgeous boutonniere crafted once again by Bowman and Clark.
We laughed, we shivered, we took amazing photos…. and we couldn’t breathe after the hike there and back! But the photos made it worth every single precious second. I love couples who will fight adverse conditions to have an adventure — putting aside discomfort and hardship to witness the beautiful sunsets and the most incredible moments. Metaphor for marriage? You decide! 🙂
