This snow-capped Colorado mountains couple’s session is breathtaking. It literally feels surreal when surrounded by acres of natural beauty. Whether forest, beach, desert, plains, or mountains, nature is the perfect backdrop. Colorado has 55 major mountain peaks and is globally renown as an adventure destination. A glorious diverse landscape, wildlife, and plenty to do ensured Kayla and Nick enjoyed their couple’s session. Colorado is in the western region of the U.S. and the Rocky Mountain National Park is under two hours’ drive from Denver City. Take your time and view this mountain top couple’s session and be inspired. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you take the plunge on a custom-made adventure. 

The Colorado Mountain couple’s session took place just over a month ago in the freshness of the beginnings of spring. Snow had begun to melt in certain places revealing rugged, rock formations. The sheer magnitude of Colorado mountains and valleys brings a sense of awe and respect. People and pets are so small in comparison to the snow-tipped pine trees and magnificent mountain peaks. I know it was an illusion, but it seemed like we could almost reach out and touch the cloudy blue skies. We were all grateful for this beautiful sun coming through in the photos on this mountain top adventure. 

The Couple: Colorado Mountain

On top of the Colorado Mountains Kayla, Nick and their gorgeous dog had fun in front of the camera. Nothing warms my heart more than taking an adventure photoshoot in a stunning destination. Add to the location, a beautiful couple in love and their pet and a photographer just knows, it’s going to be EPIC!! 

Kayla and Nick look on point in their neutral palette of black and creamy caramel casual attire. They kept warm on the mountain with knits, flannelettes, jeans, boots, and beanies. Their very photogenic dog was a joy to photograph. Super cute! 

It’s always worth the effort to plan a breath-taking destination photoshoot. The pictures capture the emotions in the moment for generations to come. In the future your possible grandchildren view pics taken years before they were even born. They will see the love their grandparents have for each other. Big picture thinking helps when you are planning your dream photoshoot. Nick and Kayla will always be seen as mountain top adventurers!
