Engagement Photo session

When organising an Engagement photo session, it’s important the location is significant to you. Alyssa and Tyler agreed that the city is important to them, and the photos needed to capture the urban beauty of Atlanta. First the photoshoot began at the couple’s lovely new home. The minute I saw the sunshine yellow front door at 203, I knew these pics would be full of joy, fun and intimacy. The use of body and background bring the love story together beautifully. People can see the emotion of the day. Look at their hands in these portraits, they speak words of forever care and never letting go. Also, that Engagement ring is unique and stunning!

The next location, right at golden hour, was perfect for capturing the city skyline of downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The green landscape beyond the parking deck was at the forefront of the concrete city landscape in the distance. Sunsets bring romantic light and silhouettes, one of the best times of day for an engagement photography session. Alyssa and Tyler were naturals in front of a camera. Like most couples, it’s not what they thought they would feel comfortable doing. A big part of a photographer’s job is to help people feel at ease and enjoy the moment. Take a deep breath, smile, and embrace the fun!

Engagement story

Alyssa and Tyler value quality time together, hanging out with each other and a good trivia night. Their ideal date night is a coffee and walk, a nice dinner and boardgames. They consistently encourage each other and show kindness in their relationship. Tyler is a romantic at heart and takes every opportunity to dance his bride to be in his home or out in public. Dance moves made for great pics, on the parking deck, especially with Alyssa’s gorgeous white boots. Together they are excited for the future Wedding Planning!

Engagement tip

When you are planning, be calm and enjoy the adventure of making your Engagement/Wedding/Elopement special and not stressed. Couples can often leave everything to the bride to be and miss the opportunity to dream and plan together. It is a great pre-test to handling other big decisions that will be made in your marriage.
